We had a great day yesterday at The Gateway Church tailgate. Met some great people and enjoyed a bottom-of-the-ninth I-Cubs victory!
This is our second social event of the summer. These are key
events for our Launch Team members to invite their friends, neighbors, and
co-workers. We do very little (if any) advertising for these events, but focus on
word-of-mouth and personal invitations.
At each of these events, we have an invite card for the next such event. We also seek to set up individual meetings with new people who attend these events. At those meetings, we will get to know the person, share the vision for our church, and possibly invite them to start attending our Sunday evening launch team meetings.
