Just downloaded the latest album from my favorite Iowa band, The Envy Corps.
I had the opportunity to hear them play a few
months ago and they are truly incredible. They are known for their big
atmospheric sound, attracting comparisons to Radiohead, Aqualung, the Verve,
and the Doves. Last year they toured with The Killers… Pretty big stuff for a
band from Iowa!
The coolest part is that two of the band members, Scott & David Yoshimura (brothers), were in my youth group at church growing up. Scott was in church this morning and I had the opportunity to congratulate him.
I seriously recommend heading over to iTunes and downloading this album right away!

Tory - it wasn't available for purchase in the US until this week so I thought I would try to get the word out again! By the way, it was great to hang out with you last week!
